Sar-e pul, National Resistance Front: A clash between the recently resettled Taliban in the province and the group's only Hazara commander in Sar-e Pul province left five dead and three wounded.
The Taliban fighters confronted the lately ousted Hazara commander Mahdi Mujahid.
The clash took place at the gulwars e Norak mine.
Among those killed were two members of Mahdi Mujahid's forces.
Mahdi Mujahid had worked as the Head of the Taliban Intelligence department for five months when the group took control of Afghanistan. Still, then the Taliban relieved him of his duties, and he was not employed.
This is not the first time the Taliban has relied on ethnic lines to govern and control.
The tribal group had earlier sent 200 recently resettled Pushtun fighters to Badakhshan province to expel the Badakhshani Taliban from the province.
