Baghlan, National Resistance Front: The NRF forces attacked the Taliban bases in the villages of Taghanak and Pas Kendi in the Pol-e-Hesar district of Andarab last night.
The attack resulted in the killing of eight Taliban fighters and the wounding of seven others.
Sabz Ali, one of the commanders of the National Resistance Front, was martyred in the battle.
The NRF forces liberated several villages and seized a number of weapons and ammunition from the Taliban mercenaries.
In a preemptive attack, the NRF forces sabotaged the Taliban's plan to attack its bases and inflicted heavy casualties.
