National Resistance Front, Takhar: The NRF forces killed Qari Shamsuddin Gujar, a senior commander of the Taliban in Takhar province.
The incident happened last night in Farkhar city of Takhar province.
The NRF forces captured a Kalashnikov rifle and a radio during the action.
Shamsuddin Gujar was supposed to participate in a battle in Andarab haa of Baghlan province, leading a unit of 30 Taliban reinforcement fighters next week.
In the past 24 hours in Takhar province, this is the third incident carried out by the forces of the NRF against the Taliban.
