National Resistance Front, Panjshir: After the brutal killing and genocide by the Taliban in Afghanistan, especially in Panjshir, Richard Bennett, the special rapporteur of the United Nations Human Rights Council for Afghanistan, visited Panjshir.
Richard Bennett travelled to Panjshir on Wednesday morning.
Mr Bennett's trip to Panjshir is to investigate the human rights situation in the province.
There is considerable documented evidence that the Taliban in Panjshir committed genocide, mass killings, shooting prisoners and civilians, and arresting and torturing hundreds of youths in Panjshir.
As the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Human Rights for Afghanistan travelled to Panjshir, dozens of residents of the Paryan district of Panjshir province, including women, protested in response to the systematic killing and torture of civilians by the Taliban.
The Taliban, however, dispersed the protestors with aerial firing.
During one year, besides Panjshir, hundreds of civilians have been arrested, tortured, imprisoned and tortured by Taliban mercenaries in Takhar, Baghlan, Badakhshan and other provinces of Afghanistan.
How the special human rights rapporteur does to achieve social justice and equality in Panjshir will be to wait and watch!
