National Resistance Front, Samangan: Taliban raped two girls in Samangan province and then beheaded them in front of their family members. The men who raped the girls are bodyguards of Mulla Shamshad, the Taliban district governor of Roye Doab.
After raping the girls, Mulla Shamshad accused them both of adultery and ordered their execution. Subsequently, Qari Anas, one of the guards of Mulla Shamshad beheaded the two girls in front of their families.
Qari Anas is one of the guys who raped these girls and took pictures with the victims before killing them. One of the victims' names is Amina and the family of the second victim did not want to disclose the identity of their daughter to be published.
Relatives of the family say that the Taliban compel another daughter of the family into a forced marriage. The crime took place about a week ago in the village of Surkh Qala, Roye Doab district.
