Takhar, National Resistance Front: A local Taliban commander shot dead his wife and brother-in-law in the village of Abdal, Taloqan, the capital of Takhar province, on Saturday.
The Taliban commander is Mir Sayed, known as Habibo, and is the group's deputy director in the second district of Taloqan.
The victims were "Goldasteh" and "Adam Khan".
Adam Khan" was an employee of the Hajj and Endowment Department in" the province.
The Taliban have stepped up its assassinations of civilians and former soldiers in Takhar.
