Kabul, National Resistance Front: An explosion at the Pul-e-Khashti Grand Mosque in Kabul injured 24 people and left one in critical condition.
The bomber struck shortly after noon prayers in front of a mosque.
Three days ago, an explosion occurred at the currency exchange market in Kabul, near the Pul-e-Khashti Mosque, injuring 57 people and at least one dead.
Explosions and suicides in public and sacred places of the country, especially in mosques, are not new. The Taliban have had no mercy in killing people in mosques, universities or even hospitals, and thousands of innocent people have fallen victim to the group's hostile intentions over the years.
