Takhar, National Resistance Front: The Taliban's self-proclaimed governor of Takhar, Mullah Nooruddin, has long been under the strict surveillance of the Taliban intelligence.
Members of the Taliban mercenary group arrested Mullah Nooruddin from the city of Taloqan and transferred him to Kabul, where he is currently in captivity at the 049 unit of the intelligence department.
In addition, Taliban mercenaries raided Mullah Nooruddin's house in the Baharak district of Takhar province today and confiscated all his military equipment.
The savages seized dozens of light and heavy weapons, ammunition and several vehicles from the home of the governor and transported them to central Takhar.
Mullah Nooruddin is one of the most senior Uzbek Taliban commanders in the northeast of the country, who has worked for the terrorist group for years; but the Taliban leadership seems to not to trust him anymore.
Meanwhile, several other Uzbek officials of the group have been fired or imprisoned in the last few months.
