Taliban Courts Asking for Bribe in Takhar
Takhar, National Resistance Front: Corruption and bureaucracy have spiked throughout Afghanistan since the Taliban takeover.

Several residents of the Rustaq district of Takhar province have complained of widespread corruption in the courts run by the Taliban in the province, especially in the courts of the Rustaq district of Takhar.

A resident says, Abdul Hamid Taliban judge and Commander Khairullah, one of the group's top commanders, asks for bribes to manipulate the cases in favour of those who pay bribes.

People in the district are fed up with bribery and oppression by the two, and the situation in the Taliban's revenue-generating offices is getting worse day by day.

The situation in revenue-generating offices such as passport, municipality and customs in the provinces has deteriorated due to widespread corruption and bribery.
