Badakhshan, National Resistance Front: The Taliban detained Sardar Sarwar, a physician and elder of the Baluch community in Badakhshan, and severely tortured him for working as an Army physician a decade ago.
His family members say the Taliban severely beat Sarwar to force him to admit that he is a member of the National Resistance Front.
They add that Sardar Sarwar is still under the oppression of this group.
In the past few days, the Taliban have arrested many innocent people in Kunduz, Parwan and Kabul.
