The Taliban captured Ahmad Jawid in a wounded condition together with his father, commander Ahmad Shah, after which members of the group gathered around the young man and shot him dead as his father watched.

The martyred commander Ahmad Shah was the brother, and the martyred Ahmad Jawid was a nephew of Mawlawi Habibullah Hessam, a prominent member of the National Resistance Front.
The Taliban are committing war crimes and crimes against humanity by torturing and killing civilians and war prisoners throughout Afghanistan, especially in the northern provinces.
The available videos and evidence of these crimes show that the Taliban members do not pay the slightest attention to human dignity and the laws of war.
