Taliban Detained Civilians in Panjshir

Panjshir, National Resistance Front: The criminal Taliban have detained at least 50 residents of Panjshir province on charges of collaboration with the National Resistance Front.

The individuals were unarmed and were residents of the Panjshir province, who had fled their homes and had taken refuge in relatively safe areas due to the escalating conflicts.

Following Eid al-Fitr, the clashes escalated in Takhar, Baghlan, and Panjshir against Taliban forces. Since then, the Taliban has begun arresting, harassing, and killing civilians.

Recently, the mercenary Taliban shot dead Ahmad Shah, the brother of a former soldier Mahboob, in Anwi Tagaab Kawanduz in the Worsaj district of Takhar province.

The Taliban also shot dead six innocent civilians in the same village yesterday.

Among these six were Azimullah and Habibullah farmers, and "Hafizullah" was a teacher.

The identities of the rest of the individuals killed are still unknown.

In addition, Taliban fighters brutally began house-to-house searches in the village of Qassan in Andrab last night.

The group also raided people's houses in Deh Miran and Qala-e-Olang districts of Andarab of Baghlan province and detained several individuals.

Four civilians were then brutally shot, and the rest were taken, hostage.

The brutal treatment of civilians by the Taliban is retaliation for attacks by brave fighters of the National Resistance Front.

The videotapes circulating on social media show the arrest of at least 50 civilians in Panjshir; it could clearly identify that they are civilians and locals.

The Taliban cannot confront the national resistance forces. In retaliation for their repeated defeats in various parts of the country, they are targeting innocent people, men and women, and even innocent children.
