Kabul, National Resistance Front: The Taliban opened fire on women protesting in Kabul due to the Taliban banning girls' secondary schools.
A group of women organised a protest rally in the Lecyi-e- Maryam area in Kabul on Thursday.
The protesters chanted "Bread, work and education" and "Education is our right", but the Taliban insurgents responded to their civil protest with violence and fired to disperse the protesters.
The Taliban have repeatedly cracked down on women protesters in various parts of the country and detained women protesters.
After the Taliban invasion of Afghanistan, girls in the sixth grade are barred from school, and women are not allowed to work, which has let them face severe restrictions.
