Takhar, National Resistance Front: The ruthless Taliban beheaded a former NDS officer last night in the city of Taloqan, the capital of Takhar province, and then showered his dead body with bullets.
The killed NDS soldier named "Dawood" was a resident of the "Baharak" district of Takhar, but lived in Taloqan.
The Taliban also arrested his wife after killing Daoud, and she is currently being held in the group's prison.
The former NDS soldier had tried several times to immigrate to a neighbouring country; but due to lack of financial resources and a passport, he could not do so.
