In a special ceremony held in honour of the "World Mother Language Day" at the University of West London (on February) by the "Association of Persian Language", Ustaad Javid Farhad, poet, writer and prominent literary critic "Matua Kabir", a journalist and young writer of children's novels, were recognised as the winners of a special Qandi Parsi award.
The "Qandi Parsi" award was created four years ago by the initiative and efforts of the Persian Language Association in London, which also includes a cash prize.
The purpose of this award is to protect and praise the efforts of Persian writers who, in difficult circumstances, seek to promote Persian culture and literature in the area of the ancient Khorasan of civilisation and the world today.
It is worth mentioning that in the previous years, the esteemed intellectuals: Mojgan Faramanesh, Tahmasebi Khorasani, Ruholamin Amini, Najib Barvara, Navid Mohseni, Partaw Naderi and Dariush Rajabian were the winners of the award.
