Statement of National Resistance Front of Afghanistan regarding the killing of Ayman al Zawahiri
The US air strike targeting the residence of Ayman al Zawahiri leader of the Al Qaeda terrorist group in the heart of Kabul and killing him, once again affirms the position of the National Resistance Front and its stand against the Taliban, which harbours the most dangerous terrorist groups. Although the leader of Al Qaeda is killed, but in the main time  terrorist groups like al Qaeda have had a good chance to revive.

The presence of the leader of Al Qaeda in the centre of Kabul is a clear sign that Afghanistan has once again become a meeting hub and a sanctuary for the terrorist groups, which every day take the lives of our people and threaten the countries of the region and the world.

The Taliban, with its inhuman acts, have contributed to the violation of the national sovereignty, territorial integrity and airspace of Afghanistan by foreign forces, which has damaged our national dignity. The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan emphasizes that the improper interactions with the unlawful Taliban group and disregarding the profoundity of the threat of terrorism will pose a serious challenge to the security of the region and the world.

The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan emphasises standing up for the highest values and recounting that airstrikes without considering the objective realities, in the long term, will have the opposite result. The National Resistance Front demands the cooperation of all the countries of the region and the world with the Resistance of the people of Afghanistan in the fight against global terrorism and its supporters.
