A year ago, on this day, due to a pre-planned conspiracy, the Republic fell completely, and Kabul was handed over to the Taliban. At the same time the resistance was formed, and a part of the people chose to stay on the battlefield to challenge the false propaganda of the "invincibility" of the occupying Taliban. They stayed to reestablish a democratic system based on the will of the people, to guarantee human rights in particular women's rights, freedom of expression, ensuring justice, permanent stability in the country, and to combat against tyranny and oppression, discrimination and international terrorism .
During a year of Taliban rule over the country, suppression and deprivation of women from the most basic human and Islamic rights, forced eviction of people from their ancestral land, arrests, torture and killing of civilians have become a normal practice of this group. The lack of appropriate response from Human Rights Organizations and the international community has made the Taliban to feel more comfortable and to be more daring to continue with their crimes against humanity.
The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan once again warns the region and the world about the swift growth and expansion of terrorist networks in Afghanistan under the Taliban rule, and expresses its deep concern about Afghanistan becoming a safe haven for international terrorists.
By accepting all the challenges of the struggle, the brave forces of the National Resistance Front had a difficult but a victorious year. The Taliban have lost their moral on the battlefield and the signs of collapse of this occupying group are clearly visible. We will stay firm with our commitment to continue the struggle to achieve freedom. Allah is with us, the people are with us, and God willing, we will win.
