With the remembrance of more than one and a half-million martyrs, millions of the disabled and refugees of a very arduous but glorious era of jihad, we commemorate the 8th of Sawr and the 30th anniversary of the victory of the people of Afghanistan against oppression, injustice, the inquisition of people's beliefs and anti-religion sentiments of communist parties and puppet regimes.
The jihad of the people of Afghanistan and their resistance to uphold their belief, independence, freedom and self-determination in that strenuous situation, and the ultimate victory over the tyranny of time, inspired all the freedom-loving people of the world and marked a turning point in the history of the struggle for independence and freedom.
The National Resistance Front believes that aggression, occupation, oppression and injustice, regardless of their address, are reprehensible and deserve condemnation and we must stand against it at any cost. As our people stood against the Red Army yesterday, today, they will not remain silent against the black aggression. They will restore freedom to the country with the determination of the brave youth of this border and region.
Inspired by the selfless and pious Mujahideen and realising its responsibility to protect the country's independence and freedom, the National Resistance Front again emphasises its resistance against the Taliban mercenary group.
