The National Resistance Front, considering the safety and well-being of the Taliban prisoners, has dealt with them according to Islamic and humanitarian values and the Geneva Convention on prisoners of war and provided them with food, water and medical treatment.
We reiterate that any military operation in areas controlled by the National Resistance Front and attempt to resolve the issue by force will have consequences that will endanger the lives of the prisoners.
The National Resistance Front is ready to pave the way for the safe return of war prisoners to their families by exchanging the prisoners held by the Taliban.
In this regard, the NRF calls for the urgent cooperation of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
The message was also conveyed to the leadership of the Taliban group.
